Preparing my car for its first start, just did the major input/output check today, all is well except for the lamba.
It reads lambda fine and the heater works but the status remains not ready, am I missing something?
Depending on the settings…heater and lambda is just working when engine running and sensor is at specified temp…just start ur engine…u will expirience more problems than this at first start
The sensor is heated after the engine starts.
If you want to test it, you can temporarily check the “Enable heater without RPM” option. It will start heating immediately, but remember to disable it because having a fully heated sensor when starting a cold engine can damage it.

I have done the enable heater without RPM and everything works fine. Thats Why I am surprised to see the staus not ready there.
Maybe it only switches to ready when the car is running and the sensor is at operating temp? I intrepreted it as if its not ready for use yet.

I agree that the Diagnostic value might be misleading in this situation.
