Emu Pro will not turn off

Hello,

my emu pro 16 is not turning off after the voltage is switched off to PIN B15.

It needs B15 to wake up as expected but will not turn off..

I have attached a log of this situation to this thread

Hello, i think i found the Issue. I Feed the switched 12v Input from the EGI Main Relay.

After turning off the ignition there is still voltage which vanishes when checked with a Check light and the Ecu turns off.

Is there a Built in pull down resistor which I Can activate in the Ecu to solve that?

Regards

Bastian

wire it properly and it will

I‘m using the Factory Wiring and in this case i have to use the EGI out as switched 12V. When the car/ignition is Off the Output from EGI relay does still have 2.2 V which is enough for the Emu Pro to stay on.

I have solved it with a external pull down resistor.

oh jesus it looks complicated :DDD

Have you checked that resistor yet? It could be getting hot.

I would have used a diode instead.

Just my .02

Hi,

There is a known issue in which PWM signals can induce a voltage on the ignition input under certain conditions.

Check for any PWM when the engine is off. It could be the idle valve, throttle body, lambda sensor, or some other load.

This issue is related to PWM on auxiliary outputs. It doesn’t happen with injector outputs, so one solution is to move the load from the AUX to INJ.

Another solution is to add an external pull-down resistor to the ignition input. There is no internal pull-down that you could switch from software.
