I was playing with my tune and suddenly observed my Idle is increasd after a throttle blip.
Checking the log I notices my target RPM are 300 rpm more than normaly. It was due to Idle ramp down target RPM value but for some reason the decay rate does not turn it off.
What could cause this issue, this never happened till now, I was plaing with speed sensors calibration and some dsg engine torque changes, nothing else. I tried an older calibration to exclude something being changed by me but same behavior.
I think ur armed airflow is too high. The rampdown starts when u drop below target rpm(rampdown offset included). But if u never reach this target the rampdown never starts. Ur idle state also shows that u are stuck in armed.
Thx, will have a look.
But the Rampdown did start it just didn’t want to stop the expecteation is that it should decrease the target to Idle base target with the decay rate.
As long as u are in idle state armed the rampdowncorrection is applied. The rampdown happens in idle state target rampdown and u will enter this state if u drop below idle target rpm. But u will never do this if ur armed airflow is too high.
And thats ur problem.
