Injector phasing batch fire

Hi all,

Question about injector phasing in batch fire! I’ve searched a lot on this subject, but I can’t seem to find the fitting answer.

I’m helping someone with an 6 cylinder in-line engine. Firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4. Ignition is wasted spark 1-6 pair, 2-5 pair and 3-4 pair. Ignition is verified, timed and it starts when introducing fuel out of a bottle.

Apparently the fuel injectors are also paired! So 3 injector outputs are used for 6 injectors.

Injector 1-6 paired

Injector 2-5 paired

Injector 3-4 paired

How would I set this in the EMU software?

Would I only set Injector phase 1 to 3 with squirt twice per cycle?

(All 6 injector phases were set, but that obviously causes issues when only 3 outputs are used)

(The wiring loom is already there, don’t want to split the injectors if not needed)

Another example would be running a V12 (12 injectors) with an EMU Classic which has 6 injector outputs.

What engine is this?

It’s a Opel C26NE. Which is a 2.6L 6 cylinder 12 valve.

2JZ-GE firing order is the same and uses a wasted spark system. You can likely utilize that setup. Let me get to the computer and I will try and post something up for you. Provided your wiring the same.
