Multiple Oxygen sensors?

Hi,

I went through an article recently stating that for better results when firing cylinders individually, so that you can avoid running lean in one of them, is to have 5 oxygen / lambda censors (4 cyl engine). One before the cat on each cylinder and one after the cat.
Not sure whether this makes sense, I mean that I understand the concept but is it too much?
Which ECU can handle that?
Thanks for all the answers.

EMU Black and Classic can drive one O2 sensor each, Pro8 and 16 can drive two each, and additional sensors can be used by adding lambda to can modules. Pro8 and Pro16 have more capabilities for per-cylinder trims, so you’d want to go that route to get the most from it.
