One client is running the S55 engine on EMU PRO.
There should be no problem with N55.
N54 has piezo injectors, and we don’t have support for those.
To run this engine, you would need to switch to solenoid-type injectors.
We can also measure the injector characteristics if you provide us with a new injector for testing.

Does the pro ecu control the valvetronic or do you just lock it at max lift ?
PRO does not control the valvetronic.
You have to lock it.
Hey Ross. I’m also keen to find a way forward with EMU Black on N54.
I broke my engine a couple of weeks ago so I now have a scrap head. I hear mixed things about going to port injection, which would be the easiest solution. But if we could somehow get the N55 injectors or something else to work in the N54 head it could be great, but from what I hear this is pretty much impossible - don’t know why?
I think Shane has an N55 head we can look at at compare to the N54…

Hey Craig. I definitely wouldn’t go port inj only . Maybe a add on to the direct inj . Been down that road with the vw 's . It’s Shane’s car we keen to try it on .
