Clearing DTC works perfect for my setup now.
Previously I had to fire up OBD tools to clear 0001/0002 DSG communication errors after every offline project update which was quite annoying.
Are there plans to enable single side (return spring) thermostat control? (or second closed loop DC strategy to achieve the same)
I’ll do my best to add this soon.
Might be related to the import/export changes in this version
I noticed that scaling, colors, filtering etc of custom channels (calculated or received via CAN) are not saved in desktops. See the screenshot of one of my pages.
Store_desktops is pressed, template saved and the app is closed
I open it back up, load the same log but the settings are not preserved
Loading the saved template yields same results.
Also is there a way to enable live filtering for custom channels?
e.g. I’m importing current (amp) channels from my PDM (non-ecumaster) and they’re quite noisy. There is no such option on the PDM side unfortunately. I’m checking plausibility of power consumption of critical devices and It’s something I’d love to have on my dashboard Live not only in logs afterwards.
And it even goes undefined once I connect to the ECU and load the latest project file
@allihov,
Thank you for letting us know about this issue. We will check and get back to you tomorrow.
We have confirmed the issue. Your intuition was correct — it is related to the Import/Export feature introduced in this version.
We will try to release a client software update within the next few days.
Updated to play around today, noticed a new menu under trigger called ‘fast cut.’ Searched the changelog but could not see anything about this and the help doesn’t have anything. Any quick explanation for what this is?
Thank you!
This “Trigger / Fast cut” setting is NOT functional. It was used during development and will be removed in the next version. Thank you for letting us know.
In this firmware update we have implemented a second mode for spark/fuel cut called “Automatic” (internally referred to as “Fast cut” during development). This new mode is easier to configure, as there is no need to tune a cut percent table as before.
It has been implemented for 4 strategies (from the changelog):
E.g. Engine RPM Limiter:
The EMU PRO Client update 230.5.1 beta was released today.
It includes fixes for the issues reported in this thread:
- Custom channels no longer turn into “undefined” in the Graph Log and Custom Text Log panels
- The unused “Trigger / Fast cut” category was removed from the Smart Grid
Thank you for testing the beta software!
