Do you plan on adding some of the new features that were added to the emu black v3 such as functions?
Functions have been available since the EMU PRO product launch.
Use: PROJECT TREE tab / Project Tree window / Add button to add a new one.
I recently installed a rotary switch in a position where it is not visible. This made me think of something that would be really cool to see implemented.
Customizable tach output to display data. A variable for switching channel, and a table for displayed RPM.
Custom frequency outputs don’t allow this because they’re limited to 16-800hz.
This opens up some possibilities for those who want more data with a stock cluster -
Custom latching switch on a cruise control button or engine off throttle press, using tach to display current value.
Display ethanol content for 5 seconds on startup.
Indicate failure mode during malfunction. This would be cool for clients with little technical knowledge, who don’t know how to connect to the ECU or send us the logs from the flash drive. If tach displays 2000rpm during cut, you are losing fuel pressure. If it shows 3000rpm, that’s overboost protection.
Alert driver to critical condition.
In my current case, display current position of rotary switch.
Ahhh I see now. Sorry about that, its different than the black software. I guess I need to do some more reading on the PRO software. Thank you!
