Working on a 2002 Focus SVT, this is the second car being build, so the claibration came from a previously running car. When we try to start the car the injectors are not firing. If we test the injectors we can have fuel delivery. From the datalog no fuel cut flags are being shown. Any idea of what can be? We try enable and disable the fuel cut delivery for ignition lock as well with no luck. attached datalog and calibration. FYI also TDC is being verified
@MickyMcFinnigan is this a strategy that you can enable? on ther project with emu black and v3 software i do not need to use the brake to start the engine, can you clarify? maybe i have the flag that require the brakes at crank turned on somewhere? thanks
For my application, I have to have my foot on the brake. Could be just the CAN integration with my specific chassis being an Audi A3 8P. I’ve seen a few other posts on this forum about the same thing.
However, after another look at your log it does show there is injector PW while cranking, 10.35ms. However your battery does seem a bit low while cranking too, so a jump box or boost may help it crank over faster while you are troubleshooting.
Your VE Table and Cranking fuel table hasn’t been modified. It appears the injectors are firing, but perhaps someone else can weigh in.
