Hi, i have a coolant fan who need a +12v PWM.
Is there maybe any solution for this in the emupro?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Just a PWM signal?
Any auxiliary output can do that.
They have a 10k pull-up resistor to 12 V.
H-bridge outputs B can also do PWM and switch between 12 V and ground.
Hi, sorry for the confusing.
I know we are using normally the PWM switches to ground,
But now i need a PWM witch is switching the 12v for this fan.
That doesn’t change my answer.
If you need a 12 V PWM signal (not power), you can use the auxiliary or H-bridge B outputs.
To add to mkuklis post - an aux output can provide as 12V signal, BUT you must invert the duty cycle %. An aux output set to 25% will be grounded 25% of the time and 12V 75% of the time.
Also my PRO-8 has a ~6.2kOhm resistor pullup to 12V, not 10k. Not sure if that’s production variance or something else.
