Renault F4R VVT Trigger / Camshaft Sensor Configuration on EMU Black

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a Renault F4R engine with VVT (from Clio RS / Mégane RS) using an EMU Black.
I would like to ask if someone has already configured the crank (PMH) and camshaft (VVT) sensors on this engine.

Here is what I know / have tried so far:

  • Crank sensor (PMH): VR sensor, 60-2 toothed wheel, rising edge, works fine.

  • Camshaft sensor (VVT): Hall sensor powered by 12 V, 4-tooth asymmetrical wheel.

  • The cam signal seems to be similar to a “VW R32 4 teeth” pattern, but I am not sure if this is the correct trigger type to use in EMU Black.

  • I am wondering if I should configure it as “1 tooth”, “VW R32 4 teeth”, or another option, in order to get proper VVT control.

  • Also, should I use the CAM sync tooth window for extra stability with VVT?

Has anyone already done this setup on a Renault F4R VVT with EMU Black?
Any advice, example configuration, or Triggerscope screenshots would be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance :folded_hands:
