Stalling when pulling up

Having a slight very annoying issue with my bmw m52b28 on s50 itb’s (alpha n).

So randomly the car will stall when i pull up to a stop, there dosent seem to be a set pattern to when it does it, but itll do it say 1 in 10 times. ive uploaded a log, but i couldnt get it to do it at the time which is typical, like i say it may not even do it for a couple of days, then it does it like 5 times in a row, its weird, i was almost leaning towards a hardware problem, but everything appears to check out.

Any pointers of where to start looking would be awesome!

I’d be looking at the idle target parameters and adjusting the ramp down settings to see what happens/if things improve. I can see some instances in the log where the idle state hasn’t been armed even though it looks like it should have been.

If you can, keep logging while driving and if it stalls, have a look at the idle state channel and see if the idle state had been armed and then activated. If not, then that’s likely the issue and you just need to tune the settings to make sure it does get armed and activated.
