Steering wheel panel within EMU Black

Afternoon all, hope you’re all good.

I have an ECUmaster steering wheel panel setup in the PMU initially and then saved/added the CANX file in the ADU so the steering wheel panel is working in the PMU and ADU fine.

I would like to use the paddles in the EMU Black for DSG, but I’m struggling (this is a skill issue, not an ECUmaster issue) to figure out what I’m supposed to be doing in the ECU software. I’m still on V2 firmware at the moment, due to waiting until it goes to the mapper to convert to V3.

The same setup applies to the ECUmaster/Blink keypad which I’d also like to use for P, N, R, D, Mode as well. This too was setup in the PMU first and exported to the ADU.

Due to using a DSG box, the gearbox, the EMU Black, the keypad and the steering wheel panel all join to the BUS which goes to PMU and ADU CAN 2 at 500kb.

I am no tuner but I do like to at least set up / calibrate things to verify correct function before shipping cars off for tuning, so any pointers appreciated to fill in this knowledge gap, thank you.

EDIT. I should add, I have seen the ECU keypad and switchboard section in CAN/Serial, however with regard to the switchboard it doesn’t seem to show the paddles in that section.

Bit the bullet and converted to V3 Firmware, which of course I see now addresses much of the DSG and also the Switchboard / Steering wheel panel paddle concerns I had previously, so for anyone who finds/reads this in the same boat, with an outdated map file they didn’t want to mess with by going to V3, just do it it’s the best course of action

Onto the CAN Keypad, if I enable “PMU Keypad” in the EMU Black V3 software, will this setup correctly in the “Gear selector” emulation by Key (button) number in the DSG section?
