Units for Airflow VE correction table entries

Are the values in the Airflow VE correction table relative or absolute? For example, if my VE table value is 20% and the VE correction is 5%, is the effective VE calculated as (20*5/100) + 20 = 21 or is it calculated as 20 + 5 = 25?

The Airflow VE correction table entries appear clamped at +/-30, which suggests the values are absolute changes in VE. When I adjust the values, the observed lambda changes very little, suggesting the values are relative.

TIA

It is additive to VE table value

Understood. VE correction is added to VE table value to calculate fuel dose.

Is this table effective in all idle and ECU modes? I’m trying to determine values for the Airflow VE correction by changing the idle air (in override mode) and adjusting the table entry bring Lambda 1 back to target. I’m finding large increases in the Airflow VE correction are not reducing Lambda 1 as I would expect. Is this a reasonable technique?
