When are we going to see the new version?

I’ve been waiting for the new version of the ADU software for some time now, any idea on when it will drop ?

Hi,

the newest version of the ADU software was released three weeks ago. Have you checked it out?

Is there anything you were expecting from the new version? Which version are you currently using? Do you have any problems with that version?

I’m running 104.1, I’m looking for the non-experimental update that has the new Australian tracks I provided the details for

We will add these tracks in the next experimental release, so you will be able to use them if you decide to switch to the experimental version.

A public release is not planned yet, as it needs to be thoroughly tested before we decide to make it public. Therefore, I can’t provide you with a precise timeline for when it will be available.

In the meantime, you can add the tracks you need as user-defined tracks in the ADU Client.

I realise I can use the user-defined tracks, that is what I am currently doing. But I am already at the 5 limit as you have no Australian tracks defined in the current production release. Hence why I am asking when the new version will be available that DOES have the tracks that I provided the data for included.

I assume you are telling me that 108 experimental does not have the Australian track included ?

Use button defines works best

You can easily save and restore a few sets of user tracks, depending on which one you want.

Version 108 doesn’t contain these tracks.

wow, never knew that you can load it via files. Great stuff. What happens to the stored laptimes and best lap delta, when you keep changing the tracks around?
Do they reset? When do they reset? (for example, I fix a cordinate slightly, change the name, etc etc)

After loading the tracks, you have to press F5 to load the project into the device, then save it by pressing F2.

In general, this function is not designed to handle any number of tracks, so I was a bit too quick to say that it’s an easy way. You need to reset the track data after loading a new set of user tracks. I just wanted to point out that this possibility exists.

So, if you have lap times saved for, let’s say, user track 1, and then load another set of tracks, you need to manually reset the track data (either all tracks or just the current one).

If you slightly adjust the coordinates (for example, to improve start/finish line recognition) or change the name, it should work fine. However, resetting the track data is always the most reliable option in such cases.

Back to the original topic, we plan to make a public release in a few weeks, so we will include those tracks then.
