6k Breakups on V3

Looking for some help with an SR20 conversion to V3, been struggling with this issue on 2 different cars, both of which run V2 with no issues on high boost settings.

The rundown:
14 Psi - SR20’s run all the way to 7200rpm limiter no issue
18psi - Breakup from 5000 to 6000 (As boost goes over 14 ish psi)

Base V3 files were made from V2 settings, with subsequent changes made on the dyno to try and fix the breakup and run well at 5000-7000rpm.
Swapped plugs on the dyno (NGK BKR7E)
Upgraded both cars to R35 coilpacks.
Downgrading to V2 files result in perfect running at 18psi.

Struggles

  • The breakup
  • Noisy MAP on the internal sensor - have the filter at 16ms to smooth it out.
  • Acceleration enrichment kept getting stuck on at 100% throttle, and wouldn’t turn off until decel.

Can anyone spot the settings in here that might be causing this?

first thing I noticed is there’s no lean spikes in the 5-6k range, which I found strange if you’re describing ignition break up.
to me it just looks like its struggling to gain rpm… like the rate of increase slows down. though note sure what ramp time you’re aiming for or what that looks like compared to 14 psi

I do notice the secondary trigger in the V3 map is set to ‘do not use’ where in the V2 map its ‘Nissan trigger’.
Not sure what difference that is making since the car runs like that but the Nissan trigger decoding in EcuM always been a bit funky with me.

As FloorIt wrote. There is no configuration for CAM for Nissan trigger in your v3 configuration. I’m really curious how it starts…

Also for V3 you have selected for inection configuration End of injection, for V2 you have At igniton event.

For Nissan trigger wheel End of injection is not supported and it can cause your issue.

I would also make your mixture a little bit leaner as Lambda 0.73 seems to be low for gasoline.

Thanks @Jadzwin_ECUMASTER and @FloorItGarage - good spot.

I’ll add the secondary trigger settings and switch the injection timing for another dyno session :call_me_hand: appreciate the time looking at the files and the quick support!
