This category concerns beta testing of the V3 software for EMU CLASSIC.
I see on v3 studio that the inputs a labled wrong, like for example analog input 1 shows B31, where it must be B20, also see the same for the ign ouputs
Stepper outputs now labelled as H-bridge outputs, but pins still work the same for functions or whatever. I haven’t tried using them as a stepper output as I don’t have any stepper devices.
A few challenges I’m having:
Graphs
- Log Condition parameters appear to reset themselves every key on.
- My Channel setups are not being saved when the Desktop template is saved (e.g. Knock ign retard scaling defaults back to 0-30 scale, after having changed it to 0-15)
Tune display
- Log channels not being stored in saved desktops.
Idle parameters
- I don’t think the “Idle On if MAP Over:” parameter is working. I assume if MAP is below this value, then Idle should not be active, but I’ve noticed that when I’m in gear, going downhill, 0% TPS, 23kPa MAP, 2500-3000 RPM, my Idle status is Active. This drops my Ignition Target from the table target, down to the Idle ignition Target (causing mild pops and bangs).
Knock Action
- I don’t think my Knock Ign Retard is being applied to my actual Ignition Angle. See attached picture - The blue line at the bottom of the plot is indicating that I should have 5 degrees of ignition retard applied, but my Ignition Angle is the same as my Ignition from Table (pink and green lines, respectively).

Today tried to configure flex fuel sensor (configured and working on v2), sensor input as vss input, but FF status stays as disabled and don’t have any readings. I tried cam2 input but nothing change. Any tips?
