V3 Studio 3.065 (new software 3.065b available)

There is a new software version with new features and bug fixes.
This version also includes beta firmware for EMU CLASSIC! A function to control the “speed” of the rev limiter has been implemented, but for now the effect is very subtle—we will continue improving it in the next release.

Also a new subgroup related to EMU CLASSIC V3 beta testing has also been created.

  • Turboshaft speed added to custom axes

  • Flat shift functions can now be used as activation sources

  • Idle control stepper motor can now be used in ALS strategy for additional air supply

I have a dashboard with CAN SW buttons and a clutch switch on the Switch3 pin. How can I enable flat shift by pressing a button(CANSW) on the dashboard?

It is on the list, sorry for the delay.

Create a funtion with logical AND operator between Switch 3 and your CAN SWITCH activation input.

Then use this function to activate the Flat shift.

So both switches need to be active to activate Clutch switch

Tnx for update SW works now stable for me. Only thing I noticed that X axis can not be changed in bost target correction by rotary switch.

The rotary bins are always from 0 to 9 as a rotary switch position and cannot be changed.

whats different in this version with rotary switch ?
I used V3 with rotary switch to select boost target with blending 3 months ago

This message shows only when you try modify bins with bins wizard and rotary switch as a bin.

Yes it sends and receive MPX data using CAN Gateway Lite.

We are at the test stage of modules and it will be available official soon (in 2-3 months)

Used to be in Wasted Spark drop down included pairs to indicate shared output so

Cylinder 1 Ignition Output 1+2 (15A,G8)

Cylinder 3 Ignition Output 3+4 (15A,G16)

Cylinder 2 Ignition Output 1+2 (15A,G8)

Cylinder 4 Ignition Output 3+4 (15A,G16) then no conflict because Wasted Spark was selected.

Now no pairs in drop down options so all outputs options 1 - 6 are listed red and conflict warning pop up opens

I’ve just encountered this myself wanting to have both Clutch switch and CAN switch inputs to activate Flat Shift, but Functions are no longer an option for the Activation Input since v3.58 as stated in the change log with no explanation as to why, is it perhaps Functions were deamed too slow for that use?

Even if maybe instead of having to use a function there’s a second “Activation input” drop down menu under flat shift (maybe a slower “Enable input” along with the existing fast “Activation input”) I don’t know what this software/hardware limitations are, just an idea.

It seems I’m not the only one who wants this function restored

Do you use 4 outputs for the coils ?

In 3.065 the functions are available for flatshift activation.

We will consider to modify activation as a clutch swtich + user input
