Astra G Wheel Speed Sensor Output

Has anyone here used the factory wheel speed sensors fitted to the Opel/Vauxhall Astra G 2000-2004 model year.
I want to wire each sensor into my Pro 8 to configure traction control, but I am trying to determine the sensor type and output.
Are the sensors Active or Passive?
I have a front and rear bearing assembly on the bench I’m about to connect to an oscilloscope to try and determine what they are, but thought I would ask here to see if anyone had knowledge on the subject.

So after some quick investigation, it appears the wheel speed sensors are Passive type (DF6) speed sensors, in both front and rear wheel bearings

The output signal provides a direct sinusoidal output that increases in both frequency and magnitude when connected directly to the sensor.
No additional power source is required.
See below for sample output

Interesting, the front sensor appear more sensitive, with a greater change in output with speed. This will need to be checked more on the vehicle later.

the wheel bearing are old stock, so please mind the dirt

So the next question is, how would this best be configured in the Pro 8 ECU, or are there additional processing steps I will need to do before hand, so that I can connect it directly to a digital input? Ie connect via a schmitt trigger device first?

You can connect them directly to EMU PRO.
One sensor pin connects to digital input and the other to digital ground.
Set the voltage threshold as low as possible without reading becoming noisy.
