B48 gen2 missifire

having trouble calibrating this engine, when i raise the load, it starts to missfire.

new oem spark plugs 0.55 gaped, engine otherwise is stock.

have triyed more rich, lean, more timing ( can hear knock on headphones), less timing, played with injection angle, low fuel pressure.. I’m running out of ideas, all limits and correction are off. fuel temp by sent is off, used the cal from b58 gen2 witch is the same part number.. “adjusted” fuel temp cal to have some close to real readings, no effect.

noticed that the cpu is passing 100% load, could this be the cause, it doesn’t throw sync errors otherwise.

uploaded a log, project can be sent in private to ecu master personnel.

Your coil dwell time is 5 ms at all times.
That is incorrect.

You are either overheating the ignition coils or they fire prematurely.
You probably lost those settings when jumping between different base maps.

Yes, missed coils dwell, it’s at 3 ms normally, issue found, it’s not the pro or gdi driver, injector high side was shared between consecutive cycle injectors. Now it’s running fine, still need polishing though

Did you find it because the driver was reporting errors/warnings?

Why was it connected that way?
Can we improve the documentation so other people don’t make the same mistake?

Well I did the wiring, and have done several..

Following simple logic used the outputs ABCD in natural order for cyl 1 2 3 4, paring the high side also in natural order.

Going by guts started to look again in documents to verify if gdi driver is setup correctly for given injectors, found a diagram were was explained the connection for a 4 cyl engine.

Pmu was not reporting over curent, gdi was not reporting issues, pro was doing its job without reporting issues.

CPU load was reduced to ~80% with adjusted log channels for important things with high hz and low to none for non esențial.

But adding a sequential gearbox, tc antilag don’t know if cpu can handle..

Base map sent by ecu master suport regarding ho control and setup is not working very well.

As a matter a fact, I have started the engine before the base map arrived ( 5 days late)

For avoiding wiring issues with GDI, just put in the pinout diagram next to high side pins, that is forbidden to share them for consecutive engine cycle outputs.

Btw, is there any known good method to implement no lift shift in pro? Black is easy
