I have wired my Bosch wideband 4.9 directly to my EMU Black. It was working perfectly for 1 day. Nothing changed but the next day my AFR was not working anymore. It heats up but also the Voltage seems to have increased based on the previous days readings. I double checked my wiring etc. Also to note the O2 sensor is brand new.
Unfortunately the 4.9 sensors can be a bit hit and miss, I had the same thing happen but it lasted a few months plus there are plenty of fake sensors knocking around.
I have found the 4.2 sensors to be extremely reliable, my current Bosch 4.2 has been running for several years and running it allong side the 4.9 i see very littly difference in performance.
all is not lost though, my Bosch 4.9 did come back to life when I installed the resistor modification into the loom.
