Something I have noticed which is a bit of an odd one. I did not have the issue on V2 and just confirmed as such. I thought my brake switch was on it’s way out but didn’t remember noticing it on the V2 Firmware. On V2, When you press the brake pedal, the logs show the brake switch activated and stays as such, until you release the pedal. It also shows up in the list of switches as being activated (CAN Switch 1)
On V3, My brake switch cuts in and out in the logs. My Brake switch is configured via CAN Switch 1 which is part of the Factory VW/Audi CanBus system on my vehicle. Same as it was configured on V2. I can also feel my Shifter lock cycling on and off which tells me it may be related to CAN in some way. When I have my foot on the brake pedal in V3, sometimes the Brake switch under “switches” shows on, but then cycles to off…then sometimes back to on. It never shows “CAN Switch 1” pressed in the list of CAN switches.
I find this very odd. I’m not opposed to replacing the brake switch. I just find it odd that on V2 this issue does not present. however on V3 it does.
