Early C20XE M2.5 hall sensor type question sync

Hi, so after managing to start and run the engine okay, I have reached the next issue with configuring the hall sensor correctly in EcuMaster EMU Black. The engine as stated above is a C20XE , originally with distributor and integrated hall type sensor in it. The trigger wheel has just one slit (window) when it obviously tells the original ECU that this is TDC and Cylinder 1 is in ignition stage. However, I am not sure what kind of setting do I need to pick from all the options. I have tried the following under 2nd trigger : Hall-type , 1 tooth, all type of filters in EMU Black, trigger edge rising and falling and I am not getting anywhere. I have also tried VW 1.8T setting as I saw an engine with the same hall sensor having a map uploaded to the EMU Database but it didn’t improve things.


hi so remember that on emublack pin 21= cam 1 and 5v and ground
with this setting all should work fine
