Short description of the issue:

First of all, thank you for expanding compatibility for Android devices (Android 10 in my case). You’re doing a great job with the app.

I tested just a little bit but I found that when I push the button to import a layout, the app crashes.

I also noticed that the refresh time of the displayed data is slower than in the old eMudash 3 app.

I Will try to test the app more intensivity soon but, congratulations about it. I really like it.

I had an issue where Android head units couldn’t connect to the normal modules because it uses BLE. Does the EDL-1 use a different Bluetooth adapter that isn’t BLE? It seems like you haven’t had any issues with the connection with your Atoto.

*Edit just found out that we can change to SPP now. I will restart my testing.

Hi! Loving the app so far, only getting 1 issue so far (other than resizing). I’m getting high Vehicle Speed on dash, noticed a few others with the same issue however they were using the EDL and needed firmware updates, I am using BT-CAN.

  • Oppo Reno13 F 5G

  • Android 16 specifically CPH2699_16.0.5.1200

  • app version 0.0.53 (43)

  • EMUBlack 3.061

  • CAN to BT

  • Vehicle speed reading approx 3.5x higher than actual VSS. I’m using a hall sensor on the driven axle, and correctly calibrated this channel. I’ve then adjusted the vehicle speed ratio for now so that it is reading correctly on the dash. This however leaves the Vehicle speed on ECU/Laptop incorrect.

  • I’ve attached a screengrab from my Graph Log on PC. Driven axle is the actual speed of the vehicle, with the Vehicle Speed being after I’ve adjusted the ratio to show the correct speed on the dash (eg in this screen grab, Driven axle reads approx 80km/h, dash reading 80km/h, and Vehicle speed 19km/h)
    When ratio of Vehicle speed is set to 1x at 80km/h, dash is reading approx 260km/h

Hi Rhett, thanks for the detailed report. The issue is most likely related to the EMU Black firmware and should be resolved after updating to the latest version (3.070).

Please let me know if the problem still occurs after the update.

O man i love the new edash. I started using is now was on tunerview but now i have better display and custom options. Will it be possable to add EGT to CAN if you have 6 x EGT prob’s at the moment i can only see EGT1 and EGT2 no CAN EGT’s

It can be usefull if alarms guard time (s) can be set to less than 1 sec that is minimum now.
