Hey, seen on the site that ecumaster will come out with a new app for the phone/tablet, would love to get more info on this if there is some:D Will it cost money? will if work with emu black?

Hi, we can confirm it will work with EMU BLACK and it will be free of charge.
We are currently gathering a base of beta testers. We plan to start the beta tests in Q1 '26.

Would also really like to beta test the edash app.
I’m currently using realdash on a Phone mounted in my Audi TT 8N running an EMU Black.
But I’m not that happy with realdash, and am really looking forward to the edash app.

With EMU Black you will need EDL-1 data logger or CAN BUS - Bluetooth module

I have been also using old ecumaster android dash app with both my old Emu Classic and my new Emu Black with each specific bluetooth dongle and a 7” radio mounted instead of the dash, but I always found that version a bit too simple.
Can I join the beta test of the new eDash app too?

Will the vehicle speed be using the GPS on the device the app is running on or will this be coming from the ECU?
Will eDash be compatible with EMU Classic?
I took my rally car to a training session last weekend and was very disappointed that the Dash 3 application on two devices wasn’t working. Is there any chance of an eDash beta app? I’m planning to go to another training session soon, and it would be great to have working dials and be able to test the app.

just bought a car with emu classic and a adroid teblet running emu dash app.
as @Pajak already ask. will edash compatilbe with emu classic with bluetooth module equipped?
if so, i also want to test it on track if you need another beta tester.

Yes, the eDash app will work with EMU Classic.
To connect to EMU Classic, one additional Bluetooth device will be required:

EDL-1 data logger, or
-
Bluetooth module (BT Module), or
-
CAN BUS Bluetooth module.
