Hi everyone,
I’m using the Ecumaster EDL-1 data logger, and I’ve run into an issue with how it handles storage. Currently, I’m using a 4GB SD card, and the logger records data just fine—until the card is full. Once it’s full, it simply stops recording.
What I would really like is for the logger to operate in a loop or ring-buffer mode, where it continuously records and automatically overwrites the oldest data once the card is full. This way, I’d always have the most recent data available.
This is especially important in cases where something goes wrong—like an engine failure. If the card is already full when the failure happens, the crucial data from the moment of failure isn’t captured at all.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to configure the EDL-1 to do this? Or is this simply a limitation of the device?
Thanks in advance for your help!
