Emu Pro - DBW Calibration Error

Hello All,

i’m having trouble to calibrate the Stock DBW on a LSA engine.

context…

Wiring is Correct - Before me, car was tuned on the same Emu and the dbw worekd, i deleted the map [=

when i move the TB by hand the the TP main signal and the check signal moves great.

but when i try to calibrate it’s seems that the TB wont move at all.

test function on the DBW section is odd.. it wont move the TB, but when i select and then Unselect the “reset command” function

image

it will start buzzing and will work but just a little bit, it will move from it’s parking position (24%/20%) about 2-1% tnd that is it.

same if I Unselect the H-bridge 1 and go to tools > test outputs > then select the H-bridge1b
when i select the H-bridge1a - wont move / wont buzz

iv’e attachen logs and maps.

verified

  • inputs and outputs
  • wiring
  • voltage min and max on all sides
  • different Hz frequency
  • current limit
  • accelerator pedal calibrated X2
  • error flags check (useless… )

cannot attach file so here is a google drive link

Hi,

H-bridge 1 is in an error state: “Short to ground OUT B”. This error occurs when too much current flows through the output. In this state, the H-bridge is disabled, and the output will not turn on.

There are a few possible reasons for that:

  1. EMU side - H-bridge is damaged and reports incorrect status.
  2. Wiring - short circuit, wrong connections.
  3. Throttle side - burnt motor, too much friction.

You need to test which one is the culprit:

  1. Switch to another H-bridge. If it works, something is wrong with H-bridge 1 or the connection to the EMU.
  2. Disconnect the throttle body connector and test as usual. There should be no errors from the H-bridge in that situation.
  3. Switching to a different TB will confirm that.

Hello.

Thank you for your replay.

I chased the wiring, fixed it.

Now the dbw calibration works flawlessly.

Thx
