DBW bug? It moves but calibration fails

Hello,

I am experiencing a really strange situation.

Bosch 82mm dbw with its dual inverted pots (main to analog 1 rising and secondary to analog 2 falling) and everything correctly wired.

E-pedal with dual pots (main to tps, rising, and secondary to analog 3 following the first)

Pedal position reads OK

Throttle position reads OK (if i move it by hand)

Dbw characteristic is OK (dc rising as tps rises).

The throttle DOES move when I press the pedal, but i CANT run the calibration tool as it fails saying that the plate doesnt move.

Fun fact is that if I press the pedal while calibration runs, it advances through the process

I tried disabling the second pot on the pedal and the throttle. Same result

I tested the hbridge outputs and with hbridge 1a the plate opens and with hbridge1b the plate closes.

If the ignition is ON and dbw is active but engine OFF, i can move the plate with my finger and it doesn’t “fight back”. However if i press the pedal outside “idle” then it does hold its position even if you apply force.

I have tuned many other dbw cars with no problem. I always use bosch 82mm. I even swapped the TB for another one with the same result

Check engine light is ON and says DBW error codes 512 / 516 but i cant find why

Firmware version was 2.168. Tried 2.175 with the same result

I even tested with another ecu! Same result

here is the log

nevermind, I found the issue.

when DBW is installed, TPS sensor (pedal) cant ever reach 0v. If it does, DBW check engine fault rises and the throttle motor stops working

solution was to move TPS sensor so that in rest position it reads about 0,5v instead of 0v.

that was the reason I could calibrate with the pedal depressed and the car did run, but sometimes the idle was stuck too high (when you release the foot from the pedal too quickly, the throttle plate couldn’t follow it and then at 0v it hangs with DBW fault)
