Emublack 2.162 vs 2.169

Good morning,
I have an EmuBlack on a 1.8T Audi TT (APY engine) with a map made by a tuner a few years ago. Now the tuner is no longer in business.

The car has been sitting for quite some time, but with the last map in use and software version 2.162, the car runs fine.

This morning I updated the software to version 2.169, and now when I try to open the map on the software, it gives me the error shown in the attachment.

Here the link with the map:

I only have basic knowledge of maps, tuning, etc., so I don’t want to mess anything up.

What should I do?
Should I look for version 2.162 and revert to the previous software, or should I stick with version 2.169? Do I need to modify the map?

Thanks a lot, everyone!

Update
i’ve just found an old software version (2.138) and i’ve see that i’ve EGO correction (but with wide band Lambda)

Is there a way (or if someone could help me) to “convert” EGO correction to short trim correction? So i can use 2.169 software?

Thanks

Not really…u need to adjust the lambda controller PID gains to ur engine again.
If u have no knowledge of PID tuning u should keep the older version.

Update:
Just notice u have a similar engine like mine…i have 1.8t AJQ
If u dont have crazy mods u can try my settings:

thank you for the answer.

Actually i’m running 360hp / 550nm with e85. Upgraded quite everything on engine side (rods, valves, turbo, exhaust, etc etc) since its a race car so i don’t know if your setup could fit mine.

On the other side i’d like to upgrade the software and move from EGO feedback to short term trim correction. Given my old EGO setup is there a way to understand if your short term parameters would work with my engine?

This is a very old file from me with ego control. U can compare those to urs (and my new stuff) and maybe u get a rough estimation what is the right change direction for the new strategy. But i would just take this than as a starting point.
U should try to understand how PID works and adjust it to ur engine.

Really really sorry for the delay and thank you very much for the info and map sharing. For almost two years, I haven’t been able to dedicate time to my car, and now several issues are coming up all at once. I’ll create other posts for those, so for now, I’ll put the EGO discussion on hold because, unfortunately, I have other things to focus on (knock issues, maybe). But thank you very much for your availability and help; I’ll open other topics where I hope to receive your advice as well.
