First start MAP problems EMU BLACK

Hello,

I have built base map from scratch with basic information found on the forum and other sources. I suppose there are more than few thing wrong with my map, so all help is appreciated.

My setup is

NA 2.0 Ford Zetec Silvertop engine, Vag coils (0 986 221 053), stock injectors (948F-B2B), stock ICV stock cam and crank sensors and engine is stock too. As a lambda I am using LSU 4.9 (0 258 017 025)

Ignition timing has been checked with strobo, and at least the timing settings should be close to fine.

Main question at this point is that can my MAP value be high because of something in the map, or should i start looking for intake leaks? I am using Internal MAP of EMU Black

But any help with the tune is welcome, if there is something some of you could help with. If someone is offering fixing this up for some type of compensation, I could also negotiate about that.

And here is a link for the tune and log file: Ecumaster stuff - Google Drive

Hello,

It is difficult to draw any firm conclusions based on the current tune. At idle, the engine is running extremely lean, with the lambda value oscillating around λ = 1.8.

If there is also a vacuum leak, the engine may simply not have enough fuel to accelerate properly.

I would recommend starting by correcting the fuel mixture. Try to achieve a much richer idle mixture. At a minimum, aim for λ = 1.0, but for initial troubleshooting, a target of around λ = 0.9 will make the engine much easier to work with.

Once the engine is idling steadily at the target RPM and the operating conditions are stable, please record and send a new log file.

I also suspect that, once the engine is idling correctly, you will observe a lower (stronger vacuum) manifold pressure reading.

Best regards,
