Full bridge for fresh air actuator

Hi,

I would like to request a feature for the EMU PRO. Currently, in the Anti-lag control strategy, could we get an option to select Full Bridge control for the Fresh Air Actuator?

My Use Case:

I am planning to use a Turbosmart EWG (Electronic Wastegate) as the fresh air valve for the anti-lag system to achieve faster response and more precise air control. This setup will require a position-based control strategy (closed-loop position control via the EWG’s onboard sensor).

Since the EWG relies on a high-current DC motor, it requires a Full Bridge configuration to drive it properly in both directions to target the desired valve position. It would be amazing if the EMU PRO could support this natively within the Anti-lag strategy.

Hi,

You can configure the H-bridge to operate in closed loop on its own.
Then you only send the target position over CAN.

In the “Exhaust fresh air actuator,” assign one of the unused outputs (so the strategy is enabled).
You can then use the base duty cycle table as a target position table.

Send the duty cycle value (0-100) as a target position for the H-bridge module.
This should achieve exactly what you need.
