We were going through some adu logs today in Data master and noticed the gps coordinates are either a different format or something in a conversion is odd. The same happens for a few sensors where it moves the decimal point. I have attached a screen shot of the same log and the difference in how the GPS location reads from ADU graphlog to Data Master.
Hi,
I’ll start with the sensors - this unfortunately is a known issue, the decimal places from the user-defined channels in ADU are not handled in the Data Master. That’s a complex problem we’re still working on.
However, this issue shouldn’t affect the GPS channels and we didn’t encounter a problem with that before. Can you confirm you’re using the newest version 2024.5?
Hi,
The decimal is an easy fix for now in math channels. Not worried about that.
With the GPS, yes, I am on DM 2024.5.
Okay, can you send me the log? Just pack it to .zip file as .adulog is not available yet in the community supported files.
Attached file should work.
20240802_1253_28.zip (256 Bytes)
Unfortunately that’s a .dmdata file which contains metadata. The log has the extension .adulog
Try that one
20240802_1452_25.zip (1.9 MB)
Thanks, I’ll investigate the issue and come back to you.
Thank you for providing the problem description and the log. We’ve identified and resolved the issue. You can download the updated version from:
