Having a separate diff ratio, transmission ratio, and wheel size parameters

Right now, gear ratios (Sensors/Gear/Ratio) are defined as km/h/1000 RPM. This makes it annoying every time the differential is changed, as all the values must be updated. Would it be possible to add a field for the differential ratio (which can be defaulted to 1.0 so that existing tunes aren’t impacted).

Another idea would be to have tire sizes be a separate parameter (since wheel speeds that come from ABS are tied to shaft speed, not vehicle speed), but I’ve taken to just assuming that the speed from the ECU will never be accurate as I keep changing what tire I run and don’t want to recalibrate everything.

Maybe alternatively these parameters could be allowed to use formulas from the project tree, and I could set up my own system for computing gear ratios and wheel speed sensor ratios.

That’s precisely what we want to do for the future.

We have already implemented this for the automatic planetary gearboxes.
You fill in the actual gear ratios of the gearbox, final drive ratio, and the wheel size.

We can’t provide a timeline at this time, but we will increase the priority for that task.
