I am new to the Black and have just setup the map based on some settings from a V2 base map (K24z), but mainly from scratch. I have no experience of the Honda VTEC cam timings, so wanted someone who knows how it should look to comment on whether the scope looks OK or not. Something looks off with the events.
Engine is timed to TDC on these settings, however they do differ from the base map primary trigger tooth and angle. Timing light fires a few times then stops, not sure if this is a problem with the light, or engine sequence running away from itself.
Cam 1 and Cam 2 angles. It looks like every file I look at I see people using different cam timing angles. Is this because it doesn’t really matter…? If it does, what are the correct angles for a K24A please? my settings shown in pic above.
I need to power the Honda reverse lockout solenoid (gearbox). What is the easiest output to use? It will be dependant on VSS > x km/h. I am using a relay, so only grounding is needed.
