I’m planning on a PNP ecu swap in my -99 Audi TT 1.8T and wondering if it is possible to control an electronic BOV / recirculation / bypass as its only a solenoid valve?
And for the more technical out there: Is there a way to make event based triggers in control software. As an example throttle plate closing over ~10% in a set period of time.
The factory control over N249 (as my N249 is the E-valve) valve makes for a very smooth ride.
This is the only open question that keeps me from starting with this project.

I’ve got an electric BOV on my car (Abarth 500).
In V3, I’m using fonction to open the BOV when boost pressure is over baro and Throttle closed, or when I lift the pedal on pboost.
Can you explain or screen shot exactly how you achieved this? I need to set up an electronic BOV for my 1.8t as well. Shouldn’t it be when boost is under 100 kpa? or below baro? This should give the same meaning as if you had a vacuum line running from your manifold to assist a pneumatic BOV would it not?
