I have a customer struggling to get an engine that has a large leaky throttle body to enter idle mode, it hangs high and wont go into idle where the ignition can pull it all down. What determines the position of the ICV when its outside idle conditions??.. it used to be RPM ref in V2 but we dont seem to have anything like than now
If your idle armed position is too high it wont drop map enough to enter active idle state
Armed state airflow is the table.
Min torque ignition angle can also help. Use low timing in high rpms of this table will help rpms come down faster
