Injection angle 2JZ

Hi, I have a 2jz vvti with 264 bc camshafts and I’m wondering which injection angle control is the best. So far I use “start at ignition event”. Does the injection angle tabel have any advantages? If so, how do you find out the optimum injection timing?

Did you ever figure this out?

No, i’m sorry. I don’t have time to work on the car at the moment. Maybe someone can help us with the question?

Injection timing is a very useful tool in fuel state manipulation and fuel atomization manipulation. Generally you “tune” injection timing for the lowest VE value, meaning all fuel is getting into cyl.

We tend to boil some fuel on the valve or use vacuum to mix in light load, which then we lose a little fuel in cam overlap. It aids in cleaner transient but will raise emissions.

Think about fuel state manipulation based on pressure in the manifold. Then think about valve events. This will lead to when to inject fuel.

I believe End of Ignition is the “proper” method.
