Injector output testing confusion

Hi,
i have request. Could u plz update or at least document in the help window the different testing options for injector outputs.
Everytime i use them i am higly confused…especially in combination with GDI and today i think i nearly flooded a cylinder by accident
We have 4 testing options, but it is not clear which parameter belongs to which option or has no effect:

when in ON/OFF mode u need to check enable then it opens for an undefinded time (i guess injector output is permanently active but GDI driver limits the activation).
But enable has no impact when e.g. in saturated mode. I was today expecting it is just starting when enabled is checked, but it is already starting when testing is clicked and the parameters are still not yet visible (that happened to me today, which is not good):

U see only this while test is already running and u don’t even know what is actuated.
Also the name “test time” is not clear. I first assumed, that it defines how long the test takes, but i learned, that it means in saturated mode, how long the injector is activated. When in peak and hold mode i think it must also have the same effect?
I know it is a minior topic, but i think at least some short docu in the help will help that someone does not accidentially flood his engine
Especially with GDI i think u can fast kill ur engine cause of the confusion the testing options create.
Thx a lot.

Hi,
Yes, you are correct, this is confusing and should be done better.

We have a GUI framework limitation that doesn’t allow us to hide those items based on the selected type. Otherwise, that would have been fixed a long time ago. Framework modifications needed to achieve this are somewhat big, so we set it as a low-priority task.

We will increase the priority, because confusion during GDI setup and testing is not something we need.
