I am having an issue on my car that I would like some help/pointers with.
When idling for a minute or so the throttle sometimes closes very shortly and causes a drop in RPM (almost stalling). I am using a Bosch type DBW and I already did the auto setup again to no avail.
The DBW Out. DC parameter behavior during idle seems abnormal to me but I cant figure out what causes it.
Definitely a weird one… I’ve had a look through the idle settings and the log and there doesn’t appear to be anything obviously wrong (but that doesn’t mean I haven’t overlooked something).
I do find it odd that the idle RPM error constantly shows 0 - That may be causing a strategy issue somewhere in the software.
This is annoying sytuation. 3x 747 bosch dbw , 100 hours setup iddling and it sometimes don’t work . My iddle is set to 1050rpm and it drops to 600 or sometimes die when coolant fan turn of .
Do you see the throttle closing when engine is rev dropping ?
Because, in my case, I really see the same thing as Markjuhpro, DBW DC Out is decreasing due to DBW pos higher than target (+ 0.1%).
And when the DC Out power is higher than throttle power, the throttle “release” and goes really below target …
Engine shuts.
I will check this in these week . I don,t know why the problem occurs after radiator fan turn off .
Sometimes a similar situation occurs after starting the engine for the first time. Starts normal , rpm drops to target set and then drops to 600 and rise to target .
