K20/dbw Idle dip on start/hot blip stall - help needed

Hey everyone. I am running v2.175 on a k20 with big valve/ported head/aggresive cams/high compression and DBW idle control (no PID) race engine. Overall I am very happy with the map but two things are kinda bothering me.

  1. Why does the idle rpm dip post the afterstart flare? I have ASE locked for 1.6seconds and I don’t believe the idle ignition correction is applying (you can see this in the ign trace). I am expecting it to flare and then settle to the target RPM but its dropping around 250rpm before settling a few seconds later.
  2. On very minor or more pronounced pedal blips - the recovery is poor and is not snappy and results in stall. What is causing this

I am sure both these issues could be fixed with minor config changes but I am stuck on what to look at. Could someone please take a look?

what throttle body are you using? Not sure if you attached your tune file but I downloaded everything you listed here and there wasn’t a tune.

Honda J35 78/70 DBW. I fixed the droop with ASE ignition lock for 1.5 secs, and some minor trims using idle ignition correction and idle ign v clt. The stalll on blip was due to Acc Enrichment being too much and also not having “Clamp DBW pos when exit idle” enabled.
