Mini PNP setup on v3

Hi everyone, tried to start up a mini with v3 software on a pnp ecu and it wont run properly (feels like its missing 1-2cyl) tried changing ignition outputs and this is the best I could get.. tried the v2 version and it wont let me calibrate the DBW (v3 does just fine with same settings)

Attached is a V3 startup file from a plug-in R50 Mini.

Please update the injector size to match your injectors.

The trigger and ignition setup are the same, so it should start with a turn of the key.

These are the right triggers, I’m using the exact same setup with good success.

For me I had issues with the spark set up as “wasted spark” instead it worked much better with the following settings:

Ignition>Coils>Ignition Outputs:

MODE: Sequential

  • Cylinder 1 - Ignition output 1 (G8)
  • Cylinder 2 - Ignition output 2 (G16)
  • Cylinder 3 - Ignition output 2 (G16)
  • Cylinder 4 - Ignition output 1 (G8)

For some reason if I set it to wasted spark it wouldn’t work at all. I think it was firing both coils at the same time? It was popping out of the intake and barely ran, spark timing was way off. It was as if it was firing Cyl 1 and Cyl 3 as a group and then Cyl 2 and Cyl 4 as a group or firing all coils at the same time.

Whatever the case may be it works perfectly like this.

DBW auto calibration worked for me though, what issue are you having?

The wqsted aparknoption pairs coils for the system withbthe separate coils for each cylinder.

In Mini there are only two outputs used, as eafh coil support two cylinders (wasted spark)
