Will there ever be a more pro based can stream? I know I can make my own, I was just wondering if the preset can stream will ever be expanded for the pro series.
Definitely yes - it’s been on the list for a long time and will happen. Right now the team is focused on the 8HP and DIESEL. I hope it will come after that.

I don’t want to derail this as getting a more Pro can stream would be great.
I feel like even better would be allow the DBC import to handle RX and TX selection. Then the pro stream can just be a DBC file + some kind of mapping file (for matching channels with TX channels), the end user could either select all and import for the full stream or hand pick certain items as needed. A simple how-to would be almost as easy as a check box (for most)
That same DBC can be used on the other end for the RX device for a super streamlined setup.
As of now the DBC file only handling RX messages is nice but limiting. Being able to dump a bunch of RX messages into the project and then having to setup individual messages one by one going out is a pain.
If development timelines are crippled right now this feature could cover many requests including the gearbox stuff, just have a database of DBC + mapping files until the checkbox or dropdown exists, done.
Just for your information - we recently added a “Save as DBC file…” button for custom CANbus TX Frames.
If you want to both save and load a CANbus TX Frame, you can consider to use the menu “File / Export part…” command.
