Need help setting up wastespark when missing an ignition output

Hi!

I have a Black ECU with a defective ignition output #1. I’m running this on a 6-cylinder engine with one ignition output per coil. Is it possible to configure it as wasted spark using only 3 outputs and logic coils? If so, how do I set this up in the software/client?

Henrik,

you have to select the same ouput for event 1 and event 4
same output for event 2 and 5
same output for event 3 and 6

Normal firing order for a inline 6 cil is 1-5-3-6-2-4
So wire cil 1 and 6 together
2 and 5
3 and 4

According to the post above, your firing order is correct, but you’ve assigned the outputs incorrectly. You’ll want to match it to what the previous replier said.

That looks right to me. At least according to the previous reply. I haven’t ever setup a 6 cyl. But that matches how I have my 4 cyl wired.
