New software 3.036 is available!

The throttle is the standard VW item that’s fitted to 1.8t engines.

I never had this issue when I ran V2

In new firmware there is an option to control throttle speed as a function of RPM.
Also there is a fix for async enrichment (the enrichment now is more consistent).

The problem is that your Injection angle control is end of injection table.
If there is no cam sync (and you have paired injectors) it doesnt make sens (as it is not possible to calculate proper injection angle).

In the future releases there will be some warning messages if you set some parameters wrong.
Just change End of injection to Start at ignition event and select squirt twice per cycle.

I cant see any wheel slip on your log. All 4 wheels are consistent.

Can you use my calibration file and apply the necessary changes to the throttle maps that you think will fix my issue. I’ve had 3 tuners including myself try to sort this problem and I’m getting nowhere.
Point to note is that this judder is only at light loads at 2k to 4k

Thanks

I will propose something. If it doesnt help we will look for another reason.

If u are useing the 1.8t stock throttle and airintake u can try my settings.

hi i have been reading and following do you have a log with the judder between 2000 and 4000 at light load also is you can tell me the full setup you are running
coils ? injectors make and size ? turbo? and waste gate ? fuel pumps ?
also was this issuse there with v2 ?

as i also have a 1.8t 20v in my polo and never experienced this before my car is a daily and track car

@Jadzwin_ECUMASTER is the acceleration enrichment supposed to add to the injector ms ? . if its supposed to add to ms of the injector. is it possible to add the ms adder to the fuel acceleration log .so that we can see if its adding the ms to enrich the car

thanks

There are already two channels:

Acc. enrichment % - percentage correction of the fuel mixture. Positive values indicate enrichment, while negative values indicate leaning.

Acc. enrich. async PW - asynchronous enrichment pulse width

hi so the reason i asked is because the Acc. enrichment % is not very effective and i want to see if its actual adding to the fuel when needed. this why i asked if the is a different logging that can show the amount that its adding. the Acc. enrichment log is not what i am looking for.

“Acc. enrichment %** - percentage correction of the fuel mixture. Positive values indicate enrichment, while negative values indicate leaning” dose this mean that it corrects by adding to the ve tabel or to the lambda target or injector pw or can you please explain

man thanks Jameel

The ECU calculats PW based on VE, MAP, fuel pressure, etc.
Then the final PW is multiplied by Acc enrich percent.

The async PW is just an additional all injectors pulse in ms to build fuel film instantly on all cylinders during hard transients

One important notice. If the MAP hose is long or small diameter or filtering too high, it can introduce noticeable delay to MAP signal, what causes a delay in increasing PW what causes poor response of the engine.

is it best to run MAP or TPS for a turbo car as i am currently running TPS for enrichment ?

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

My setup is AGU 1.9t 20v (1870cc)
full supertech valves and springs
JE race pistons and SCAT rods
630cc semens injectors
Garrett G25-550 turbo
turbosmart 45mm external gate
standard vw DBW throttle and manifold
bosch 044 fuel pump

Power is only 400bhp due to the cams and injectors not allowing anything more

With regards to the judder I don’t think it’s anything to do with the ACC as I’ve tried every setting possible. You can be gentle with the throttle and drive around the issue but this is very annoying.

No time stamp as it does it throughout this log

20241004_0825_ACC_MAP.emublog3 (1.0 MB)

I’ve ran with both settings and found the MAP drove better but was terrible when warming up.

What do you class as long? I think mines around 1 meter

Injector DC is 95% at 3bar

Injectors are 630ccm 1900 is the engine displacement

Could you provide me your latest calibration ?
I try to make some modifications.

oh man of course. i missed a line. its time to close the store for today and grab a beer. sorry haha…
