Here is a short note for Saab Hella DBW, as it is impossible to tune it with the DBW tuner (due to its nontypical design).

I would very appreciate if you test DBW calibration tool. It doesn’t change the PID settings, however the process of detecting TPS direction and motor direction was modified.

Change log:

LOG: Graph log highly optimized for speed
INJECTION: Staged injection added
ACC ENRICH: Async acc enrichment pulse calculations improved.
DBW AUTOTUNE: Modified strategy in the case of ITB (throttlies without limp home mode)
DBW AUTOTUNE: Tuner works properly with inverted TPS sensor (the voltage for closed position is higher than for open position)
GEARBOX: Timeout for gear sensor gear detection added.

DBW: Min DC, Max DC and Max output current parameters added for DBW configuration
DBW: Aditional log channels used for HW monitoring added (DBW port out, DBW HW state)
DBW: Opening and closing speed scale tables added

PPS: CAN analog inputs can be assigned to PPS main and check
TRIGGER: The logic of input filter when there is no RPM modified

CC: When ignition turn off / on during engine operation, cruise control doesn’t block the fueling for cranking
DSG: When ignition turn off / on during engine operation, cruise control doesn’t block the fueling for cranking

PADDLE SHIFT: Min RPM for upshift min value can be 0. It allows test upshifts when engine is not running.

CUSTOM AXES: AC pressure data range fixed

CANBUS: Citroen C2 fixed and new features added (see Help)
CANBUS: Mazda MX5 stream added
CANBUS: Suzuki Swift 2nd gen, wheel speed from ABS added

HELP: Secondary injectors help added

I spotted an error in the vehicle specific CAN help section, it should be Porsche 997.1 not 998.1 (It is also relevant for 987.1, as its the same electrical platform).

The wheel speeds for this platform are received but appear to be ~20% too fast, I have to run a speed ratio of 0.81 to get them reading correctly. Can you confirm what scaling is set on the receive side for 0x24a ?

i can open software, but soon as emu is connected i got crash
EMU_BLACK_V3.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0023:00410043

Fixed by downgrading to v2 then upgrading to v3

My VVT issue still there…

I think is set on off not VVT

What V3 client version had you installed before upgrade ?

Your TPS hysteresis is wrong. Change it for 10 or 20%

Thank you, I will rename it.
The factor for speed now is 0.0125 but I get information from Greg the proper factor is 0.0102860, what is about 18% of diff.
For now you can use multiplier to correct it. In next build it will be fixed.

I have since found out and confirmed that the data in 0x24a is actually 15 bits long per wheel, and not 16 bits as originally thought. Not sure how this would effect it your side, but worth mentioning:

So the exact factor should be 0.01 then

The above DBC format is correct, on my external logger I run the 15bit configuration with 0.02 factor and the speeds are correct when matched to the cluster readout.

At the moment in the ECU I run a ratio of 0.81 to achieve the same reading. So whatever changes you think are required to get it correct in the ECU without changing the ratio from 1 would be good :+1:

Yes, im changed it in blue section…because that is RPM range im using …i tought if in purple section i set rpm limit high i dont need care about other settings…is it not true?

You are right.
Could you provide me a log file?

on pc 3.037 and on emu its was i believe 3.032
but i solved

Here you are

Any reason boost only reads and maxes out at 45.11psig despite boost actually being higher than that? Actual boost level is around 48psi g. But other multiple pulls the log value for boost maxes out at 45.11 every time. Is this a glitch? Log attached
v3-maxboost.emublog3 (19.1 KB)

E90 canbus stream no longer works on 3.037
its working on v2 and was working on 3.032 not 100% sure what version i had.
Also would like to see more info about e90 canbus stream in help section.

Are secondary injectors working now?

it was removed. It is great that youbhave such car as I want to preapre more optimized evrsion of code for that. it will be avaialble in next build.
