CRITICAL

  • Improved communication with PC computers; resolved issues on some laptops, including empty tables and connection failures.

Cruise Control (CC)

  • CC now has priority over Idle; it blocks Idle if active or disables Idle when enabled during Idle.
  • CC cancels if vehicle speed drops below CC minimum speed target minus 3 km/h.
  • User throttle demand is ignored when PPS value is below the Idle activation threshold.

Paddle Shift

  • Added a 100Hz log channel to capture Paddle Shift state.

Idle

  • Idle control is disabled when DBW is controlled via an external CAN message.
  • Added Clutch RPM target increase option.

Drive-By-Wire (DBW)

  • Added pre-throttle boost target as a Y-axis option.
  • Modified DBW and EWG communication between microcontrollers to address DerUltraTT issue.
  • DBW tuner fine tuning.

Trigger

  • On any trigger error, the Ignition system state changes from “Synchronised” to “Synchronising.”
  • Primary trigger medium filter is now always active when RPM < 100.

Fueling

  • Added flex-fuel blend to VE tables.

OBD2

  • Added support for VIN number.
  • Added more PIDs. See Help for details.

Wideband O2 (WBO)

  • AFR at 0V can be set to 0 for external controllers.

Boost

  • Fixed override DC bug.

CAN

  • Added user-defined CAN clamping value for input channels to match the input channel type.
  • Added Lambda 1 and Lambda 2 to user-defined CAN input channels.
  • Improved support for VW GRA switches. Current assignments:
    • CC Up: CAN switch 8
    • CC Down: CAN switch 9
    • CC On/Off: CAN switch 10
    • CC Set: CAN switch 11
    • CC Resume: CAN switch 12
    • CC Cancel: CAN switch 16
  • Updated Fiat 500 ECM frames period from 20ms to 10ms.

Logging

  • Improved decimal point formatting in graph log scale descriptions.

Scatter Plot

  • Fixed display data issue.

Other

  • Enhanced intercommunication between controllers. Added M32 CRC errors channel.
  • Improved injector event insertion into the priority queue.

Client

  • Suppressed “Log channel xxxx not assigned to any log group” message.

Help

  • Fueling documentation is a work in progress.

Fixed. File already uplaoded

When I switch DBW characteristic Y axis to pre-throttle boost, then try to open a characteristic table, the software crashes. Crash report doesn’t seem to work either. This only seems to happen when I switch to that setting for the y-axis.

The new version 3.039f is readu to download. I fixed the above issue. Thanks for report.
The link was updated in the 1st post.

Dear Jadzwin, When you plane make indication CC on dashboard?

Do you mean VW dashboard ?

Mmm. I use audi rs3 dashboard. When i activate CC i dont see indication on dashboard.

Ok I check if it is send out of EMU

I use the Audi/VW stream on my A3 8P BUB and the illumination on the dash also does not work. figured it was a limitation but would be great to have it.

3.39f is running very slow on my laptop and is causing it to go into “Not Responding” every time I switch tabs. Also after flashing the ECU to 39f, it will show connected in the bottom corner but that is all. The log graphs do not seem to be getting any live signal from the ECU and it never shows Synched when cranking. This has never happened before.

Even when not connected to the device ?

When not connected to the ecu the software is a little slow switching tabs but its useable.

Tommorow I will prepare special build for you with one small change.
We will see if it helps

Hopefully that works because it won’t allow me to flash back to 3.038.

Please try this version.

Installed it on my laptop and it appears to be a little smoother, I will flash it to the car tonight and see what happens.

The firmware is the same. Just the windows program has changed. Just try to connect to EMU.

Already at work, will try tonight when I get home.
