Testing newest fw. and im stucking in armed state with idle controll…ITB, no air controll only ignition…it has something with rampdown rpm but doesnt matter what i set…sometimes stuck in armed state…

I’ve had a sold idle control in previous versions but since updating to 3.047 I now get random stalling. It’s not repeatable either.
You do not control the airflow in any way (in your base map, the control is disabled). You have to much air and the RPM stuck at 2045 RPM
Could you show your base map and the log when engine “dies” ?
There were virtually no changes in idle control so it can be something else
OK I change TPS min to cut limit to 0
Why do you need TPS on the cut table instead of MAP ?
ITB settings with no map sensor…all load determined wia TPS sensor so knock - engine noise table and cut table will be better to have wia TPS for me…about idle…I need that much air because of cold engine idling…i used to set throttle opening that much so i can idling cold engine at 20° timing and warm engine at 10° to maintain similar RPM… Marek Kuklis allredy help me to set 0%TPS ignition table with low ignition may improve thoose falling rpm but its not a best way…maybe som stupuid simple idle advance settings will remain as any option for those simple ITB setup engines…Also one thing im angry about is logging now…There is no option to select maybe about 6 channel for some high speed logging…similar as Debug function working,…if i have something like shift cut where i need to find out if all is working enought fast i have no option now because compring 25hz and 100hz chanels make this immpossible…Thank You!
For the gear cut use analog 4 as this sensor has 250Hz logging special for the gearshift strategy.
If you need such high rpm for cold engine just set the target as high for cold engine.
Also for idle ignition control allows the more ignition retard to allow lower engine RPM.
However, the best solution would be add PWM air control valve and use it for control idle RPM.
According to CUT / KNOCK and load I added it to the to do list
Thats very good to know about gear cut! Thank you! but if you want to see how it performs shift cut and you compare in log with spark cut % which is 25hz you dont see how exactly things happens…Thats why id like to have some high speed logging option…but its obviously not that easy as i think
Thank You for your help appreciate that
Unfortunatelly it is not ease to modify the whole logging system.
In V2 there was fixed rate 25Hz so there is still a progress
What is worth to be mentioned all analog inputs, gear shift strategy ets is performed with frequency 500Hz (2ms), the MAP sensor sampling is an exception as it is sampled with 2000Hz.
Maybe im loosing a point a littlebit but why is good to have only one channel with 250hz logging? If you can not compare with another fast channel it isnt worth that much..no?
Can i also kindly ask you to remove Minimum tps limit for shift cut from 5% to zero? I really dont want to test shift cut strategy under load…best way for me is test at idle and thet set some limits…thanks
@Jadzwin_ECUMASTER Do you need anything else or is that enough?
You need to see the proper voltage from the gear sensor to configure the strategy properly. This is the most important thing for the gear shift. Analyzing this voltage you know if all works good.
I will change min tps limit as I wrote before. Now you can simulate it by pressing a pedal a little.
This is enough. I will try to take a look on this today evening.
Subject: Request for Base Map – Audi 1.8T BAM / VW 1.8T
Hi team,
Does anyone have a base map available for an Audi 1.8T BAM or VW 1.8T? I’m struggling to get the car to start in sequential mode—it only fires up using wasted spark on V3.
Primary and secondary triggers (cam1) are reading correctly. I’m using an Audi S3 8L with a PnP adaptor.
Coil wiring is as follows:
- Coil 1 → Cylinder 1
- Coil 2 → Cylinder 2
- Coil 3 → Cylinder 3
- Coil 4 → Cylinder 4
Injectors are wired in the same order.
Fireing Order 1,3,4,2
Please see my attached file for reference. Any advice or a working base map would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Also the idle ign target is based on rpm and not on coolant and rpm which i dont like. Theres no „simple“ way to have cold retard for nice sounding cold start or cold advance for cars without iacv. The afterstart ignition lock was also very usefull. For idle some engines need very little advance when theyre cold because they have a hard time igniting the fuel when its cold outside. so the maximum idle torque table should also be based on coolant temperature and rpm, so 3d table would be nice✌🏾
The ignition afterstart lock will be added in next build.
CLT correction table for idle ign target can be added in the future.
Publish scope from cranking
@Jadzwin_ECUMASTER i will do that thx
The problem with the unexpected missing tooth looks like electrical problem.
Your settings from V2 differs with the setting for V3
Did you try the same settings ?
Also you can try to change injectors mode from End of injection to Start at igntion event for the test.
Also it still could be worth to check on V2 if the problem doesnt exist now.
I have tried all settings and all combinations, only with this one does it run in the v3 up to 6800 rpm, in the v2 I already wrote that I have no problems with it, as you can see in the log of the v2, so there must be an error with the v3, it is a vr5 agz motor
