Guys i need urgent help when i upgrade to v3 now it had a buffer overun issue. Cant load bootloader wat can i do

what do yoy mean by buffer overflow ?

Please check the option with injectors. I will verify if the adaptive threshokd circuit switches correctly in v3.

give me 1 hour and I should only change to start the injection ?

I was busy upgrading from v2 to v3 . I wanted to post the scope log of v3. While busy with the firmware upgrade i recieved a buffer overflow error and the software froze. Switched off the car it started to run the bootloader and also failed .I managed to use a def notebook and i could load my origenal file of v2 .Car started again

I changed the injection start time there. Why am I getting other trigger errors? False cam 2 trigger, filtered. What does that mean? It’s not even activated.

The question I never thought of asking is: Is it possible to brick an EMU Black ECU?

By shorting 12v to 5v or h bridge to 5v that only case I’ve seen


Is it possible to add minimum TPS treshold for STT? Will be very usefull on Alpha-N setup !
Now i have to reduce resolution of air flow tables to turn off STT on overrun

If overrun is in any active state Short term trim is suspended.

DO you remember what was the exact message ?

Try to set CAM2 like this:

It looks that noise enters the CAM2 input and makes the mess. In V2 when cam decoder was disabled the CAM input interrupt was disabled. In V3 all inputs are active all the time to allow scope to register any signals on all inputs.

Please let me know if it helps (it could be the reason).

I put your base map on the simulator and all works well up to 15k RPM

I have two wbo calibrations
the first one is sensor cable disconnected
the second one with sensor cable connected

my problem was probably the lambda regulation and oil temperature sensor
Now it is rich in petrol but no have oil smoke and The Max egt it’s not real ,real Max egt is 630c

I tested the oil temperature and level sensor with a multimeter and there is an oscillation from 2.5V to 3.5V … same as with a new sensor and an oscillation of temperature


I dont mean overrun settings…i mean how to turn off STT if i running engine brake on alhpa-n without map sensor? min TPS doenst solve this…i forget about idle

i also have WBO-CEL for a short time but cant see any issue with my lambda reading…i have log from this but a little large..about 2 houres :slight_smile: I can not upload here…

When the sensor is cold the results will be the same.
The manual states that you need to disconnect the probe to avoid situation when someone makes calibration with warm sensor.

The sensor temperature is a little bit too low.
What was battery voltage during this error ?

Voltage was stable

It would be the best just to configure overrun and it would solve your problem.
