No output on 5 volt suply

hello guys i ve be tring to fire up my car after all the wirring and my 5v suplied sensors wont read anything(tps trigger knock) is there any parameter in thee softwere?I checked it straight from the ecu no readings too

We need a lot more here. A lot.

Lets start with:
Do you have any kind of wiring diagram you’ve written up?
Is it running, or are you trying to get it to run?

Another very honest question here:
How do you expect it to run in the first place if you have ‘no readings’?

by running i ment to check if everything was connected right in order to test if it fires up, i wirred the sensor just like the manual shows and no its the first time trying to make it run, thanks for the reply

but still is the 5v suply ment to have 5 volt at all time after the ecu is conected to the battery?

  1. Was this a pre-pinned harness and you connected to sensors at the other end?
  2. What ecu?
  3. What manual?
  4. Engine?
  5. Do you have a local distributor/supplier/support that can also help you get over this hump?

You will not ‘see’ 5v at the sensor until the ecu is powered up. Then the 5v turns on and you should verify that the sensors have sane values at that point.

Answer these explicitly or there isn’t much more I can help with.

no it wasnt i did everything by myself

Interesting. In the manual it appears that the ECU should be on when power is applied. There is no ignition input to turn it on. I’ve never used a classic and if this is wrong, maybe someone can point it out to us.

If you don’t have +5 on B23 with power on, then I’d assume you’ve crimped something wrong and would jumper to the pins on the ecu (on a bench) to verify that you do have +5 on B23 and it’s not a problem with your harness.

Have you even connected to a computer yet as-is?

yes laptop connected iat and clt are just fine but as far as 5v is concerned nothing…

the local guy that specializes on ecumaster standalones told me 5v works just fine otherwise i ll just use an external converter from 12v to 5v and call it a day

Why not fix the problem? You did ask for help.
Your proposed solution is a horrible idea - band aids are not the answer.

if the ecu is powerd up and 5v just dont show ig the only thing that i have to do is to let the tuner handle the problem cause there is nothing by my side that i can do

moreover he told me that i would have a hard time trying to make the tps work maybe the 5v actually doesnt work and he just wants to handle by himself in order to make some money who knows…

This is pretty basic stuff.

If you have no 5V output then you have an issue. Either it had no 5V output when you bought it, or you’ve wired something incorrectly that has either blown the output or inhibited it in some way.

Put the ECU on the bench. Power it up and look for 5V at the relevant pin. If its there, you know you have an issue with your wiring. If its not, ECU is damaged and needs repair.
