Over boost protection

can someone explain to me how to exactly setup up the over boost protection set up. I don’t understand how it works exactly. thanks

It are just 3 settings.
Overboost limit: how much more boost then the target table.
Overboost duration: how long the overboost can accure
Fuel cut duration: how long the fuel is cut during after overboost is detected.
